My Little Angels

Well, since I have been so busy taking everyone elses photos, I haven't done much of my own lately. I did however squeeze my kids in for a quick "test Mommy's set" as I was getting ready for another session.

They happened to be standing there watching me and actually wanted to sit down and smile for the camera. As a photographer, I must say that taking photos of your own children is often the most challenging, so this was a nice change of pace. Of course they weren't dressed accordingly or even prepped for a photo shoot, but willingness to smile and love one another won out over perfect hair and clothes.

You see, when I actually get them dressed in color coordinating outfits and brush their hair and get everything set up, they always seem to end up in the "push your brother and pinch your sister" kind of mood. So much so, that my son has a specific look on his face that we have lovingly named "Turkey Lex." You will understand when you see the photos below--LOL! Sooooo, since he was NOT making a "Turkey Lex" face and actually smiling at his sister, I went for it. Iron Man shirt, mac and cheese face(that is what photoshop is for), messy hair and ALL! The background still needed steaming, but too bad for me....
